About Us

We are Dave and Claire. Two married twenty-somethings that started to get bored of living in a city suburb, spending evenings on the sofa in front of the TV. We are packed up our home, said goodbye to friends and family and prepared ourselves for jumping into the unknown.

On 4th March this year, we boarded a plane to Rio de Janeiro clutching our one-way tickets. From then on the plan was and still is flexible and, to be honest, incredibly terrifying.

I’ve been inspired to write by my Mum, who I write a postcard to from every place I visit. She still keeps them all on her fridge. Those that were sent since I met Dave five years ago have all been signed;
